Last week, I received confirmation from my college's human resources department I was awarded tenure. If you ever worked in the academic world, you know how big of a deal this is.
In our fast moving and ever-increasingly unstable world, it is a pretty strange feeling to know you have a stable, well-paying job for the rest of your career. I am truly privileged to have an occupation I greatly enjoy.
Three cheers for another 30 years!
