We pitched the yeast hotter than we normally would (~28°C) to try to get hotter fermentation temperatures, as we want the saison esters. Oranges were a late idea, if I had known before brewing I was going to add some during secondary fermentation, I would've also added coriander and orange peels during the boil... Dry-hopped and added fruits on 2020-11-22. I can't say I taste the chokecherries, but I do taste fruity aromas that are pleasant and it would certainly be less good without it. The yeast comes out nicely; it could be stronger, but it's way better than previous saisons I brewed.
